And both, you know, the [[Maidan coup|Ukraine coup]] and [[Russiagate]] have this mutually [[escalating]] dynamic where they lead to a worse situation in both countries and ultimately help lead to [[NATO war in Ukraine|Russia's invasion of Ukraine]] because one of the lasting impacts of [[Russiagate]] was to totally [[criminal]]ize [[diplomacy]] with [[Russia]], fuel an [[escalation]] in Ukraine, incentivized [[Trump]] to send [[weapon]]s to Ukraine that [[Obama]] wouldn't even send before because he didn't want to further inflame the conflict that he helped begin.
