There's a difference between 'unintelligent' and 'undirected'. Darwin just pointed out a real 'duh' moment in biology: ''Creatures that survive long enough to reproduce tend to pass their traits on to their children''. Nobody knew about DNA back then, but the rest of his theory was rock-solid, or else it would have ended up on the scrap-heap alongside Lamarckian evolution and Spontaneous Generation. --[[User:Gulik5|Gulik5]] 15:08, 8 April 2008 (EDT)
