Judges (Hebrew: Sefer Shoftim ספר שופטים) is a book of the Bible. It is part of the Hebrew Bible ([[Tanakh]]) as well as the Christian [[Old Testament]]. It gives the history of Biblical judges (not to be confused with modern judges), who were elders that ruled and guided the ancient Israelites.
