::Yes, there are conservatives in San Francisco. I'm one of them. I'm sure there is a Christian or too in Mecca, too, but don't doubt that it IS a gay mecca. I'm maybe 10-15 blocks north of an enormous gay pride flag that towers over Market at Castro. I've been downtown, and there will be a naked man just walking the streets, unhindered by police. Don't get me wrong, I love this city. It is a beautiful place, and I love living 10 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from the forests, with enormous parks and gorgeous architecture.
