I'm thinking about shows from my youth, such as CHiPs - which portrays law enforcement in a positive light, while wholesome lead characters and little violence, and MacGuyver, again a show with little violence and a character using Yankee ingenuity to extract himself from a tight situation. Not sure it's conservative...the main character, Alex Keaton, played by Michael J. Fox, was born in Africa and it's never made clear that he is a naturalized citizen. Also, as a desperate ratings ploy, the 4th episode of the show revolved around Alex Keaton engaging in pre-marital sex and suffering no negative consequences. The middle daughter, Mallory, is shown to be extremely materialistic but it is not portrayed very negatively. The parents, despite what the description says, are successful and live in a nice-sized house despite their liberal tendencies. I think this show should be put in the "maybe" category.
