I decided that that in the intro the wording would raise a misconception if the article is skimmed.  It read originally as if he personally changed his family name to Soros.  The date for the name change is given as 1936, Soros was born in 1930 therefore I doubt that at the age of six George Soros personally had his family name he legally changed.
