I decided that in the intro the wording would raise a misconception if the article is skimmed. It read originally as if he personally changed his family name to Soros. The date for the name change is given as 1936, Soros was born in 1930 therefore I doubt that at the age of six George Soros personally had his family name he legally changed. --Harrymd 23:45, 9 June 2011 (EDT)
Soros and Eichmann
Soros, who was 14-15, fingered Jews for the Gestapo.
At Eichmann's public trial in 1962, this was controversial, because many of the eyewitnesses who survived to testify against Eichman were collaborators. Families of the deceased were outraged cause they blamed collaborators as being complicit in the murder of their families. This led to courtroom outbursts during an internationally televised trial.
Of course, over the years, these outbursts have been written out of many accounts covering the Eichman trial cause they differed with the image of Jewish unity in the early decades of the State of Israel. Think about this for a minute - this was in 1962, in the very early days of satelite transmission of live television. When Jews stood up and accused Jews of killing their families in the Holocaust, it created much confusion to a worldwide audience. Note of clarification
Many people think Soros funds his operations out of pocket. It doesn't always work like that.
Soros has a worldwide staff and operation, usually working out of universities. But much of the money the Open Society Foundations receive come from US taxpayer, Congressionally-funded grants from outfits like USAID or the State Department. The funds don't always come directly out of some deep pocket Trust fund he established. OSF provides the personnel structure and management. IOWs, Soros and his machine function as a conduit for Deep State and globalist operations with US taxpayer money. RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 10:03, January 9, 2024 (EST)
