Amazon River

Located in South America, primarily in Brazil, the Amazon River is by far the world's largest river by volume. Its water flow is so great that it is six times greater than the total river flow of he next six largest rivers combined. In length the Amazon River is the second longest in the world.
The Amazon River is so vast that is sometimes called The River Sea. During the rainy season the Amazon can be up to 24.8 miles wide.
