Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit was a WWE professional wrestler. He died June 25, 2007 in an apparent murder-suicide. There was speculation that the killings were due to "roid rage" because of the use of steroids. The chief medical examiner dismissed that speculation, saying the levels found were within the range expected as treatment for chronic pain. An MRI was conducted on Benoit revealed he had the brain of an 85 year old man with Alzheimer's Disease. Since the murder-suicide, WWE has tried to distance themselves from Benoit. With the launch of the WWE Network in 2014, Benoit's career is featured, however, any pay-per-view in which he is prominently featured includes a disclaimer/advisory.
