The Nintendo Wii U is the fifth home video game console made by Nintendo, and the successor to the Nintendo Wii. It was released on November 18, 2012 in North America. It is the first Nintendo console to support high-definition graphics, as it is packaged with an HDMI cable. It uses a gamepad controller, rather than the more traditional ones used by the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
- Please note that some of the superfluous video game articles have been consolidated into main articles to keep from having too many video game articles. Please edit the main articles and add any information to the appropriate sections. Thanks. --James Wilson 18:03, 20 June 2014 (EDT)
