Lucerne

Lucerne is an annual plant of the pea family. It has small clover-like leaves and purple flowers. The heat-treated seeds of the lucerne plant are used in shamanic medicine.
Lucerne is used to treat:
- arthritis
- asthma
- diabetes
- scabies
- high cholesterol
- indigestion
- kidney, bladder, and prostate problems.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not approve uses of Lucerne for natural remedies, especially allergies and lupus.
