Cho Seung-Hui was reportedly obsessed with 18-year-old student Emily Hilscher, whom was one of his first two victims.

On April 16, 2007, a 23-year-old Korean man studying English at Virginia Tech went on a murder spree that took the lives of 32 faculty and students. The perpetrator then turned the gun on himself. Amongst the victims is a 76-year old Holocaust survivor, Liviu Librescu, who was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111

The university and its police has been criticized for taking 3 hours to notify students and faculties of the presense of a shooter.
