North American Free Trade Agreement

The North American Free Trade Agreement removed most barriers to trade and investment among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It eliminates non-tariff barriers to agricultural trade between the U.S. and Mexico. The agreements came into effect on January 1, 1994.
