Lovie Smith coach of the professional football team the Chicago Bears. Lovie led them to the Super Bowl after the 2006 season, but they lost to the Indianapolis Colts under Tony Dungy. Lovie is a Christian coach who uses teaching and respect over yelling and cursing to get the most out of his players. Lovie has quietly given interviews about his faith, as did Dungy in the weeks before the Super Bowl. Dungy was saddened that one of them had to lose, and both men have a profound respect and admiration for each other and are personal friends.
