Amritsar

Amritsar is a city in northern India, in the Punjab region. It has a population of over 3 million, and is the administrative center of the Amritsar district in the state of Punjab. It is home to the Golden Temple, the religious and cultural center of Sikhism.
Amritsar is also the place where the Amritsar Massacre took place in 1919.
