Birth Control Review

Birth Control Review was a magazine established in 1917[1] by Margaret Sanger to advance the causes of Birth Control, Malthusianism, and Eugenics. It was published until 1940.[2]
The magazine frequently carried articles from pro-Eugenics authors such as Paul Popenoe, Edward Alsworth Ross, Alice Drysdale Vickery, Edward Murray East, Lothrop Stoddard, and Sanger herself. It also frequently carried articles from socialist authors such as Havelock Ellis and George Bernard Shaw, both of whom were members of the British Fabian Society. Other socialist contributors included Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Eugene V. Debs.
