Alcohol is a class of liquid chemicals that have certain combinations of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen, i.e., hydrocarbons, and that can be used as fuels.[1] They are generally thought to be a cleaner and more sustainable fuel, although they are also more expensive and cut into the food supply.
