A border is an edge or boundary, most frequently of a country. Some countries have a border disputes, a good example of a border dispute is in the Kashmir region divided between Pakistan and India. The longest border between two countries is the United States-Canada border. Closed borders are borders where you can't pass, the Armenia-Turkey border is a so called closed border. There are 65 countries that have build a wall on (some of) their borders. The best known walls are on the Israel-Palestine border, and the United States-Mexico border wich is only partly build at the moment.[1] Another fenomenon are open borders, when a number of countries agree to give full access to civilians and goods of other member states to enter their territory, like in the European Union. A famous quote about borders comes from the American president Donald Trump saying that "A nation without borders isn't a nation".
