José Pablo Moncayo GarcÃa (Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1912 - Mexico City, 1958) was a Mexican composer, pianist, and conductor. He entered the Mexico City Conservatory where he studied composition with Carlos Chavez. He also attended the Berkshire Music Institute.
Moncayo conducted the National Symphony Orchestra from 1949 to 1952.
