Richard Reid

Richard Colvin Reid, also known as the Shoe Bomber, attempted to commit a terrorist act in 2001 on board American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. Reid was born in Britain, but converted to Islam and was radicalized after a trip to Pakistan and Afghanistan. While there, he trained to become a member of Al Qaeda.[1]
