Sandman

The Sandman is a mythical genie from Northern European and Western European folklore. The creature is said to give sleepers "good dreams" via sprinkling grains of sand in their eyes. He is also said to ward off demons and evil spirits. The American thrash metal band, Metallica has made a famous song about him in 1991 called Enter Sandman. Another famous song was called Mr. Sandman by The Chordates in 1957.
