Peter Abelard

Peter Abelard (1079-1142) was prominent scholastic who used logic and questioning to discuss issues of religious controversy in his Sic et Non ("Yes and No").
Other prominent scholastics were Anselm of Canterbury (St. Anselm) and Thomas Aquinas.
