Horatio Nelson was a one-eyed, one-armed English admiral who won many sea battles in the Napoleonic Wars despite the disability which has led to his becoming a figurehead for social progressives and liberals. However, he was mortally wounded in the Battle of Trafalgar. After his death, he taken roughly by sailors to London, where he was buried in Westminster Abbey.
