ASIMO is a humanoid robot created by Honda. Standing at 130 centimeters and weighing 54 kilograms, the robot resembles a small astronaut wearing a backpack and can walk on two feet in a manner resembling human locomotion at up to 6 km/h. ASIMO was created at Honda's Research & Development Wako Fundamental Technical Research Center in Japan.

Artificial intelligence is a computer-based imitation of the human thought process. A common feature in science-fiction, but as yet no true AI has been created, and only very limited progress made on such simple subcomponents as facial recognition.

Proponents of Artificial Intelligence claim that it will eventually be possible to simulate human thought using Artificial Neural Networks which emulate the brain's activity. Most Conservative researchers are unconvinced by this as human thought is impossible to genuinely reproduce without Godly mandate. Recent attempts to study the possibility of simulating a liberal thought system have failed owing to the impossibility of computers processing arguments as quickly as even a simple human brain.

A further field of Artificial Intelligence research, Genetic programming, is purported to arrive at solutions to problems defined by complex algebraic surfaces from a random starting point. Conservative researchers have realised that this a flawed science because it is based on an unconfirmed theory and believe that the intelligent design of scientific solutions by highly trained researchers is a more appropriate solution to these unsolved scientific enigmas.

Artificial Intelligence methods are mainly used by liberal researchers, European atheists, and British homosexuals.
