Mark Meadows

Mark Meadows (born July 28, 1959) was appointed White House Chief of Staff by President Donald Trump on March 6, 2020. He is formerly Republican U.S. Representative from North Carolina's 11th congressional district. Meadows was born in Verdun, France in a United States Army hospital. Meadows graduated from the University of South Florida and is married.
Meadows is a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of strong conservatives in the U.S. House. He offered a motion to vacate the chair held by Speaker John Boehner citing no-confidence.[1] Boehner was not able to secure enough Republican votes and announced his resignation in October 2015. Meadows is a strong supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump's agenda.[2]
