The Post-it note is a small piece of paper with a special adhesive on the back, typically used in offices to record notes to oneself or colleagues. Developed by 3M, they were considered to be inventive because the notes can adhere and also then be removed. Originally yellow, they are now found in a variety of colors and shapes.
