Media Matters for America

Media Matters for America is an ultra-liberal organization with members in major media outlets which aims to highlight what it considers conservative misinformation in mass media organizations. Primarily, they target prominent conservative public figures, although Democrats and nonpersonalities are frequently criticized as well. They were instrumental in lobbying for the firing of Don Imus, whom they considered a moderate who endorsed John Kerry for president in 2004.[1]
