Talk:Access Issues
Conservapedia went from less than ten references in Google search engines to 188,000 in only about a week. This caused our page views to increase a hundred-fold. Much greater computing speed to handle the huge volume should become available by around the end of this week (around March 2).
Usage is from diverse sources, with no single website or search engine referring more than 15% of the visitors. Virtually all of the numerous vandals have been blocked, and almost all of their vandalism reverted. Amidst the influx, the entry on faith ranks number 6 in most-visited sites. That's encouraging.
The New Scientist and Congressional Quarterly publications have done interviews for potential articles about Conservapedia. Liberal blogs are trying to make fun of Conservapedia, but that has just added to the interest. We'll see how long it takes for them to figure that out.
Thanks for everyone's patience during this growth. Speed does increase here notably after business hours, indicating that many visitors are browsing Conservapedia from work. Could it be that our liberal visitors are not really working on their jobs????
Thanks for everyone's patience.--Aschlafly 22:51, 26 February 2007 (EST)
