Dr. Walt Brown obtained a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow. [1] For much of his life, Walt Brown was an evolutionist but later became convinced of the validity of young earth creationism and a global flood. Currently Dr. Brown is the Director of the Center for Scientific Creation and works full time in research, writing, and speaking on origins. [2] The book Christian Men of Science: Eleven Men Who Changed the World by George Mulfinger and Julia Mulfinger Orozco devotes a chapter to Brown. [3]
