The curse of Giles Corey
Before the Great Salem fire of 1914, the apparition of Giles Corey was reportedly seen just before the fire started. Every sheriff of Salem has either died or been forced into retirement due to the alleged curse.
His Last Words
His last words were believed to be âmore weight pleaseâ, but it was most likely âI curse you and I curse Salem!â.
