Brazilla Carroll Reece

Brazilla Carroll Reece (December 22, 1889 – March 19, 1961), often referred to as B. Carroll Reece or simply Carroll Reece, was a Republican from Tennessee who served as the state's U.S. representative from the 1st congressional district for several decades. The district, located in the eastern portion of the state, has consistently been solidly Republican since the late 1800s.

U.S. House of Representatives

An adamant conservative, Reece opposed the New Deal during the presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt and liberal initiatives such as a federal wage and price controls.[1]
