High Noon is an often-debated Western 1952 movie starring Gary Cooper (who won an Oscar for his performance) and Grace Kelly, who plays a pacifist Quaker. Only 85 minutes long and filmed in "real time," this is a classic.

“ The stark, black and white 50s film is frequently interpreted as a parable about artists left to "stand alone" and face persecution during the HUAC Hollywood blacklisting.[1] ”
