The Searchers (1956) is ranked as the 12th greatest movie of all time, starring John Wayne and Natalie Wood in this Western.[1]
Today the character played by John Wayne is considered to be racist, and like the movie Stagecoach this movie is sharply criticized. It is also considered by some to be misogynistic.
