The Power of the Dog is a sick movie that was nominated for 12 Academy Awards in 2022 -- the most of any film in this year[1] -- but was aptly criticized as being implicitly and subliminally pro-homosexuality by acclaimed actor Sam Elliott. He described the movie as a piece of garbage, and lambasted "all these allusions to homosexuality throughout" the film.[2] Predictably, Elliott was then vilified by the knee-jerk Left.

Elliott criticized this movie for additional reasons, including pointing out that it purports to be a Western but there is really nothing Western about it. He asked rhetorically, “Where’s the Western in this Western?”[2] Elliott pointed out that the lead actor was almost never even riding a horse.

As to the mysterious title of the movie, the term "dogs" in the Bible is actually a reference to homosexuals, because in the original Greek and Hebrew the word for "dogs" was a slang term for homosexuals. See Conservative Bible Project.
