George Clinton was the fifth Vice President of the United States, serving under James Madison, from March 4, 1813 AD until his death a year and a half later. He was the first Vice Presidential candidate to be under the 12th Ammendment. He cast the tie breaking vote against rechartering the first Bank of the United States. [1]
Funk Musician
George Clinton is considered one of the creators of American Funk music by many; he has been making music since the 1970s with Parliament, Funkadelic, P-Funk, and George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars.
His popular songs include Atomic Dog, Up for the Down Stroke, We Want the Funk, and Knee Deep (In the Funk).
