II Chronicles 7:14 (or 2 Chronicles 7:14) is a famous Bible passage. It is frequently quoted during the political campaign season (especially in the United States) as a call to national repentance:
| â | If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. | â |
The context of the verse is the consecration of the First Temple by Solomon, shortly after its construction was completed.
