Francis Fukuyama

Francis Fukuyama is an American historian who has been affiliated with the neoconservative movement. He wrote a popular and controversial book called The End of History in which he argued that the demise of the Soviet Empire would bring about the end of history itself. Critics have taken issue with this notion. Although he was an initial support of the Iraq War, he has since criticized the war and distanced himself from the neoconservative label. He also announced that he would not be voting for George W. Bush in 2004.
Francis Fukuyama is a student of philosopher Allan Bloom.
