Cryptochannel

A cryptochannel is a complete system of crypto-communications between two or more holders. A cryptochannel is analogous to a radio circuit.
It is also the basic unit for naval cryptographic communication. It includes:
- the cryptographic aids prescribed;
- the holders thereof;
- the indicators or other means of identification;
- the area or areas in which effective;
- the special purpose, if any, for which provided; and
- pertinent notes as to distribution, usage, etc.
