Jeremy Hunt
Jeremy Hunt is a member of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament. He represents the South West Surrey constituency. From July 2018 to July 2019, he served as the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.[1]
In June 2019, Mr Hunt stood as a candidate for the leadership of the Conservative Party.[2] Although he reached the final two, he was ultimately defeated by Boris Johnson with 46,656 votes to Johnson's 92,153 on July 23, 2019.[3]

According to UK pro-life organisation Right to Life, which opposed assisted suicide and the murder of unborn children through abortion, Hunt has voted 9 times with the pro-life side and 5 times with the pro-death side since becoming an MP.[4] Jeremy Hunt stated in 2012[5] and 2019 that the legal time limit for abortion in the UK should be halved to 12 weeks. For this stance, which is still fairly liberal, left-wing activists accused Hunt of "attacking women's rights".
