David Amess (March 26, 1952 - October 15, 2021) was a British Member of Parliament, who represented the constituency of Leigh-on-Sea in Essex from 1997 until his murder by a supporter of so-called "Islamic State" in 2021.

Positions

Although the modern Conservative Party takes generally liberal and neoconservative positions, Amess was a staunch conservative, opposing abortion and the homosexual agenda, as well as being against globalist organisations such as the European Union.[1]
