Previously, I wrote the essay Cut toxic people out of your life and replace them with edifying achievers who inspire you.

Question: Is it really true that cutting out the toxic people in your life and replacing them with edifying achievers can and will make a big difference in your life? Yes, it is. I very recently started the process of doing this and I am already noticing the difference.

The character Rooster Cogburn in the 1969 movie True Grit as played by John Wayne.

The morale of the movie: Never give up - even if you are knocked off your horse and your horse falls upon you. And you can't reach your guns. Hang tough and have true grit! Good will triumph over evil.

Consider:

1. Very recently, I began to significantly deepen my friendship with a very accomplished individual who is a member of internationally recognized prestigious organizations due to his volunteer work. In addition, this person was nominated for a prestigious civic award and was awarded this prestigious civic award.

The example of this fine person's life has been very inspiring in my life and very recently I began to develop better habits and improved my attitude as well.

2. Civic leader #2 and his influence on me. Friendship with wise and well-read pastor. His church was recommended to me by my friend mentioned above and I joined his church. My friend is not a member of the clergy. He is a layman who was doing research on church history and he called my present pastor.

3. The effect of recently cutting out toxic people in my life (Priorities, habits, attitude, positive results, etc.)

4. The exciting new doors that have begun to open for me.

5. My upcoming efforts to deepen and expand my social and business networks in 2023/2024 and beyond.

6. Excellent authors can have an effect on you. It's an indirect way of having quality people have a positive effect on you. The effect of increasing my book reading in 2023/2024 and putting the books' recommendations into practice.

7. Goals, etc.

8. Key point: Of course, the proof is in the pudding and the true test will be on how well I implement the material in my essay Grit, the key to outstanding achievements over the long term.

9. Finish essay in about 1 to 5 years or sooner from September 2023. Give a quick summary of the results.

The USA gives its citizens freedom of association. God bless America. Let freedom ring!

Don't let a toxic person try to force his way back into your life. Stand your ground!

Concerning the United States of America, according to FindLaw.com's web page Freedom of Association: "The Supreme Court has long held that the First Amendment's protection of free speech, assembly, and petition logically extends to include a “freedom of association." Generally, this means we have the freedom to associate with others who have similar political, religious, or cultural beliefs."

God bless America. Let freedom ring!
