World in the Bible

World in the Bible is the debatable overuse of the term "world" in English translations of the Bible
The respected ESV translation uses "world" 233 times, including 49 times in the Old Testament (at least one of those in a heading) and 184 times in the New Testament.
Today the word "world" has a globalist or environmentalist connotation, rather than the often-intended human connotation.
