Christopher Luxon

Christopher Luxon is the newly elected (as of October 14, 2023) prime minister of New Zealand, after winning in a landslide against entrenched liberal incumbents who had ruled for 6 years. Jacinda Ardern had ruled for most of that time but had resigned in January 2023 due her lack of popularity after her COVID lockdown and vaccine mandate.
