Sound of Freedom (2023) is a film that bypassed Leftist Hollywood and was financed by public "equity crowdfunding" instead. It is about the trafficking of children who were then rescued from sex trade.
On a budget of only $14.5 million, this film has been a smash hit with box office receipts of over $250 million and growing (as of August 2023). This may change how conservative movie scripts shunned by Hollywood can be financed in the future. The movie starred by Jim Caviezel and directed by Alejandro Gómez Monteverde. Despite the movie success, it wasnt nominated to any Academy awards by liberal Hollywood.
Jim Caviezel, an outspokenly conservative star who has a verified account on Truth Social, is the lead actor.
