Godspeed is a word used to express a wish for God's blessing and success. It is often, but not exclusively, used to wish someone a safe and productive journey.
This term is disliked by atheists who seek to avoid any favorable reference to God.

- Godspeed is also the name of one of the three ships that carried settlers to Jamestown, first arriving in the Chesapeake Bay on April 26, 1607. The other two ships were the Discovery and the Susan Constant.
