Babe Ruth

Babe Ruth, born George Herman Ruth, is baseball's most famous hitter. He started with the Boston Red Sox as a succesful pitcher (94-46), but he is most famous for his middle and later career as an outfeilder for the New York Yankees. He hit 714 home runs, a record until Hank Aaron broke it in the 1970's.
