Danica Patrick (born 1982) is a professional race car driver. She competes with male drivers in the NASCAR series, having previously competed in IndyCar. She was the fourth woman ever to compete in the Indianapolis 500, in 2005. Patrick's fourth-place finish was the highest ever by a female driver at the Indy 500. She won the 2008 Indy Japan 300, the first woman to win an Indy Car race. Although most of her achievements are fairly unremarkable by male standards (and would not have attracted much attention), they are nevertheless outstanding accomplishments for a woman. In 2024 Danica Patrick announced her endorsement to president Trump against Kamala Harris.[1]
