Deltek is an American software company. The company operates in a unique niche of the software industry: its ERP software is specifically designed for government contractors and the stringent accounting rules with which they must comply (specifically the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards). As such, the company is located in Herndon, Virginia, part of the Washington DC metro area.
Its main product is CostPoint, of which it offers two versions: CostPoint 8 for larger contractors and CostPoint for Small Businesses for smaller contractors. Another major product (acquired when the firm purchased a competitor) is ProPricer, used for government contract proposals.
