Adrian M. Fenty

Adrian M. Fenty (born December 6, 1970) is an African-American former mayor of the District of Columbia. He attended Oberlin College in Ohio before earning a Juris Doctorate from the historically black Howard University Law School in Washington, D.C. Fenty took office in January 2007 and vacated the seat four years later.

Fenty is married to Michelle Fenty; they have twin sons Matthew and Andrew, and a daughter Aerin.
Fenty is also a long-distance runner and regularly takes part in triathlons.
