Ed Davey (born 1965) has been Member of Parliament for Kingston and Surbiton in Surrey since 2017, having previously served as such between 1997 and 2015. He has also been leader of the Liberal Democrats since 2020.

Ed Davey spent the early days of his party's 2024 United Kingdom general election campaign by embarrassing himself in failed stunts such as failling off a paddleboard in the Lake District. Ed Davey is known for spreading a conspiracy theory in January 2025 which accused Elon Musk of interfering in UK democracy after the libertarian billionaire criticised the UK establishment for covering up grooming gangs (mainly operated by males of Pakistani origin) in British towns and cities.[1]
